Verne Troyer, most noted for his role as Mini Me in the Austin Power’s movies, has filed a US$20 million lawsuit against gossip website TMZ.com, after they posted a video of a sex tape featuring the actor that he claims was stolen.The lawsuit, which was filed on Thursday (June 26) in the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, says, “The videotape was never intended by either plaintiff or his girlfriend to be shown to the public, and was always intended exclusively for plaintiff’s own personal, private use.”
Producer Kevin Blatt, allegedly responsible for the distribution of Paris Hilton’s sex tape, is also named in the suit as is distributors SugarDVD.
Troyer claims that the tape was stolen and is seeking to have the tape removed from the web and prevented from distribution.
